Das Jugendensemble Ceata Junilor wurde 1991 von Ioan Macrea gegründet. Der Name der Gruppe bezieht sich auf einen in Sibiu durchgeführten Winterbrauch, der sich auf die Organisation der Jugend konzentriert und die musikalische, choreografische und lyrische Tradition der Gemeinschaft lehrt.
Das Ensemble besteht aus drei Generationen und präsentiert gemischte Tänze, sowie Tänze bei denen nur die Jungen oder nur die Mädchen tanzen. Die Lieder stammen aus ganz Rumänien.
Trophäen, die auf verschiedenen Festivals in Europa gesammelt wurden, belegen das Können des Ensembles.

The youth ensemble Ceata Junilor was set up in 1991 by Ioan Macrea. The name of the group refers to the winter custom performed in Sibiu and focused on the organizing of the youth, on teaching the musical, choreographic and lyric tradition of the community.
The ensemble consists of three generations and presents both mixed dances and boys/girls dances, together with songs from all over Romania.
Trophies earned at various festivals in Europe prove the value of the ensemble.
