Fèis an Earraich
Der Volkstanzkreis Westenholz und die Tanzgruppe „Fèis an Earraich“ aus Schottland freuen sich riesig auf das Wiedersehen während der Jugendfestwoche 2019. Bereits 1999 und 2009 war die Gruppe zu Gast in Westenholz und wird uns auch in diesem Jahr die Traditionen und Folklore der Isle of Skye näher bringen. Der Volkstanzkreis Westenholz e.V. besteht mit 100 Mitgliedern seit 1980.
Drei Gruppen, die Kindergruppe „De Wippstertkes“, die Jugendgruppe „Danzsteppkes“ und die Erwachsenengruppe des Vereins, nehmen aktiv an der Festwoche teil. Besonders die Jugendgruppe freut sich auf die Teilnahme – erstmals nehmen sie am gesamten Programm teil und präsentieren in dieser Woche ihre neuen Trachten.
Der Volkstanzkreis Westenholz hat sich mit großem Engagement vorbereitet und freut sich nun auf eine Woche voller Tanz und Musik sowie neue und alte internationale Freundschaften.

Fèis an Earraich
The “Volkstanzkreis Westenholz e.V” with its about 100 members exists since 1980. Actually there are three groups - “De Wippstertkes” (children), “Danzsteppkes” (youth) and “Volkstanzkreis” (adults) – that take part in the festival this year. Especially the youthgroup is looking forward to be part in the festival, because it’s their first time and they can present themselves in new costumes.
All dancers of the “Volkstanzkreis” are well prepared for the festival and looking forward to a special week fulll of dance and music with new and wellknown international friends.
Guest at the 33nd International Youth Festival Wewelsburg in 2019 at the
